One Tree. Made Well.

COSWYK started from frustration: cheap cat trees that fall apart, designed to be disposable. That isn’t how we work. We make one tree, slowly. We make it properly. We make it so it lasts.

Our cat trees aren’t cheap. But for those who want something made once and made right, we craft each tree with the intention that it will be the last cat tree you need to buy.

Working With Nature, Not Against It

Each piece of wood we use is chosen for its character, not for its uniformity. We don’t try to erase nature’s marks. We celebrate them.

A knot in the grain, a curve in the branch, the uneven line where bark once lived—these are not flaws, they are features. Every imperfection is what makes the piece unique.

The tools we use are hand tools. The work is quiet, unhurried. We strip, shape, and smooth slowly, feeling the surface between each pass of the sander.

The aim is always balance: a finish that feels refined under the fingertips, but still alive with the natural texture of the wood.

Rope That Frames, Not Covers

Most cat trees hide behind rope. Ours don’t. We treat rope like a design feature, not just a functional wrap.

Each length is placed carefully, curving around the wood like a frame or draped across it like fabric. Strong enough for climbing and scratching, but subtle enough to leave the wood itself on display.

Because when the material is this beautiful, why would we cover it?

Fabric Fit for the Cat in Charge

Cats, like people, have preferences. Some like soft, some prefer firm, and some need something right in the middle. We think of it as the Goldilocks principle — each cat knows what’s “just right.”

That’s why our platforms can be finished with fabrics that suit their comfort, not just a standard one-size-fits-all cover. After all, the cat is the one in charge here.

Why We Build This Way

At COSWYK, we don’t rush. Our cat trees are built slowly, deliberately, and with respect for the materials we use.

We wanted to create something different from the mass-produced towers that seem designed to be clawed apart and replaced every year. The kind of product that is bought once, lived with for decades, and becomes part of the home.

One cat tree for life — unless, of course, you decide your cat deserves one for every room.
